Today we reported that Google had released lots of themes for its mail platform, Gmail.
Now we will show you how to set a Google theme such as Ninja or Candy for your inbox. Its simpler than enabling Google Mail Goggles or Remember The Milk as seen in previous just Google It walkthroughs.
Step 1: Log into your Gmail account
Log into your Gmail account by going to gmail.com or googlemail.com, you choose, and enter your username and password.
Step 2: Go to your settings page
From your inbox, access your settings page. The link to this is (on my Gmail account anyway) next to the ’sign out’, ‘help’ and ‘older version’ links.
Step 3: Go to the Themes tab
In your settings page, click the ‘Themes’ tab to access the Gmail themes interface.
Step 4: Choose your theme
Once you are in the themes interface you’ll be presented with all the themes that are available to you. Click the one you want to try out and Gmail will automatically apply it. I chose ‘Ninja’ on this example.
To return to the previous theme you can always select ‘Default’ or simply chose another.
